Instromet Weather Systems Ltd hand build all our products in our UK workshop. They are designed for measuring, recording and also for weather condition analysis. We supply amateur meteorologists with home weather stations for weather analysis as well as systems for professional users. Our weather monitoring systems together with our weather detection sensors are used for weather data collection. See click through links below.
Weather Station systems
Solid wood cabinets are used to house all our weather stations. Also a dial face indicator is used for wind speed. We use either a dial face or series of eight compass point indicators to show the wind direction. An electronic readout is used on specific models. This displays temperature, rainfall, sunshine hours as well as humidity. Each system comes with a wall displays, outdoor sensors, control boxes. This is an all wired system with full cabling including. We also make data loggers which can be added to selected systems.
An entry level weather station with wind speed and wind direction dial face indicators. This can also include temperature and rain sensor display.
Our best selling weather station range. Including a wind speed mechanical dial face and a wind direction shown by eight compass point LED indicators. Also includes a mechanical barometer. Additions of temperature as well as a rain sensor display can be made.

Industrial wind sensors & wind activated switches
These sensors are supplied as wind speed and direction, wind speed only or wind direction only and have industrial outputs of either 0-10V or 4-20mA. They are used in Building Management Systems (B.M.S.), wind turbine control systems as well as H.V.A.C,. Also for extractor system controls equipment among many other uses. They can also be used for taking wind speed measurements. The wind activated switches can be used for similar applications as the industrial wind sensors. These have their own control box to set wind speed switching point and delay times.
Anemometer with 0-10V or 4-20mA industrial output control box. Used in activation as well as deactivation of ancillary electrical equipment.
A wind control device with a 5 amp relay. Designed for switch activation of electrical apparatus at set wind speeds as well as at set wind directions.
For used in conjunction with an Instromet wind sensor. Transmission of wind speed as well as direction data to a receiver up to 3 kilometres away.
Weather monitoring sensors with displays
This is our range of single element weather sensing monitors. Includes sun, rain, wind speed and temperature. These are supplied as a complete system. The system includes a weather sensor, sensor cable, junction box power supply as well as a weather display. The monitors can be used as a standalone weather sensor or together as a weather system.
Comprising of an Instromet sunshine sensor, a sun display and junction box (sold as individual units). Records sunshine data with daily sunshine count, accumulated sunshine count and first as well as last sun daily recording.
An Instromet rain sensor with a rain display to record rainfall data with daily and also an accumulated count.
A wind speed only anemometer combined with a wind monitor to display real time wind information. This includes wind speed, gust wind speed also average wind speed.
A temperature sensor in a louvered shield also with a temperature display panel. This gives current indoor and outdoor temperature together with minimum and maximum temperatures.
Weather Data Loggers, Software & Automatic Weather Station
Automatic weather monitoring systems connection to PC based meteorological software for real time weather data. Also weather sensor logging for historical use or for uploading weather data to the web.
For used in conjunction with the Instromet standalone sun or rain sensor system to make connect to a PC. This gives on screen real time weather data, to generate reports and weather sensor logging for historical use.
